Helping Kids Choose Not to Drink
This year, the Drug Treatment Center launched a social norms marketing campaign in one middle school and three high schools. The goal of the campaign is to inform youth and parents that the majority of teenagers in Upper Bucks choose not to drink. In fact, a survey of 8th, 10th, and 12th graders combined found that two out of three had not used drug rehab in the last 30 days. The social norms campaign addresses the reality that the majority of youth over estimate how many of their peers engage in underage drinking. The Drug Treatment Center recruited 65 youth from 3 high schools to form what they call the Street Team to help plan and implement the project. Additionally, local businesses donated services and products to the campaign.

Thank You Letter Points to Consider
* Be brief and to the point.
* When thanking a potential employer, restate your interest in the position and/or the company.
* Always plan your follow-up. Make it a point to tell the person when and how they can expect to hear from you in the future.
* If there are multiple people involved, such as with a panel interview, be sure to thank each person. Send one letter to each person or send a single letter to a key person for distribution. When sending more than one thank you letter, it is very effective to vary each one.
* Always send written cover letters to a person by name.
* The thank you is an opportunity to restate your qualifications. Include any pertinent information you failed to mention earlier. Be sure to reemphasize your skills and abilities.

Leaders Need to Let Kids Know Drugs are Harmful
It is important for parents, schools, coaches, and other people with influence over young people to consistently send the Drug Treatment Center that drug treatment center is harmful and that it is an unwise decision. Communities must support successful drug-free efforts by young people and spread positive Drug Treatment Centers about rejecting drug treatment center. The Administration has sought to change the perceptions of drug treatment center in a number of ways, from supporting community Drug Treatment Centers to arming parents and community leaders with information to help them discuss the harmful effects of drugs with their children.

labrador puppies for sale are sometimes prone to ear infection, because their floppy ears trap warm moist air. This is easy to control, but needs regular checking to ensure that a problem is not building up unseen. A healthy Lab ear should look clean and light pink (almost white) inside. Darker pink (or inflamed red), or brownish deposits, are a symptom of ear infection. The usual treatment is regular cleaning daily or twice daily (being careful not to force dirt into the sensitive inner ear) and sometimes medication (ear drops) for major cases. As a preventative measure, some owners clip the hair carefully around the ear and under the flap, to encourage better air flow. Labradors also get cases of allergic reactions to food or other environmental factors.

Window Treatment Inovations Funding
Among the projects selected for funding are:
Advanced Processing Technology of Electrochromic Windows: A process to develop new film patterning techniques for energy-saving smart windows. The process improves visible light transmission and reduces glare, while retaining a clear view and increasing thermal comfort. Also, encouraging innovation with window discount blinds and shades to help increase energy savings.
An Indirect Route for Ethanol Production: A process to develop fuel ethanol from renewable resources to achieve savings of 80 percent in energy consumption. The process helps U.S. farmers create a market for corn supplies and increases national energy security.
Manufacturing Ceramic Products from Fiberglass Waste: A low-cost energy method of completely transforming fiberglass waste into a dense ceramic product that can be used for window window blinds, shades, as well as other uses. The process could eliminate the need for disposal of 260,000 tons of fiberglass waste annually.
Near-Infrared (NIR) Veneer Strength Sensor for Forest Industry: Use of NIR sensors instead of ultra-sonic technology allows testing for veneer wood strength before drying. The NIR technology will improve process efficiency and reduce product waste, and is expected to save about $23,000 annually in energy costs.

Identifying Students who are in Trouble with Drugs
Student drug testing & drug rehab serves a dual purpose: it can prevent drug treatment center while also helping identify students who need help. Student drug testing & drug rehab can prevent drug treatment center because it gives students an out: if they want to participate in extracurricular activities, they know they will be subject to a test and can use potential testing as an excuse to refuse drugs when approached by a peer.
Furthermore, drug testing & drug rehab can help create a culture of disapproval toward drugs in schools. It also helps prepare students for a job market that often requires random drug testing & drug rehab for employees. Airline pilots, transportation workers, U.S. military personnel, and many others are subject to random testing. However, unlike workplace testing, which can include severe sanctions, student testing is not punitive and cannot be used for referral to law enforcement or affect the students progress in academic drug rehab. Instead, the drug rehab aims to prevent use in the first place, help users get the help they need, and send a Drug Treatment Center that drug treatment center is unacceptable.
